You know how, by late July, many blooms are past their prime and the garden looks a bit old? There is nothing like white phlox to bring back a fresh, bright look.

There are many varieties of phlox, but the tall perennial ones (that come in a variety of colors) are great for late summer bloom.

They are very easy to care for. I especially like the white ones, because they look so fresh and clean, and can be seen lighting up a garden at night.
