Do you remember when you were a kid how sweet the honeysuckle smelled? In the spring and summer the air was filled with its gentle sweetness in the morning and evening.
The good news? It still smells just as sweet. It attracts hummingbirds. Once established, it does not require large amounts of water.
It does need a relatively large place to spread out, and every couple of years it needs to be cut back vigorously.
In this very busy world of today, make a spot to grow it, and then take the time to enjoy it as you did when you were a kid!
