Gorgeous! It looks like a painting.
Hi, Fifi!
You know I think the sky out here is incredibly beautiful all the time. But yesterday morning was a sunrise that people talked about all day long, in a variety of places. I was getting dressed, and this reddish glow came through the closed blinds. I grabbed the camera before I even looked out, because I knew it would be very special. It lasted for around ten minutes, which is a long time to maintain that kind of color and glow.
About the time the sun was really up and the color faded, a curved-bill thrasher showed up to pick at the jays’ peanuts, and that was fun to watch (the thrasher is not as efficient at breaking the shell as the jay is). It was a really great morning!
It is so nice to see you again!
