‘Mermaid’ continues to bloom at the size and rate that it did before being severely damaged in the Big Snow of late December, 2006. The plant has a long way to go before it reaches the size it had achieved at that time, but it is good to see the blooms just as large and the plant just as prolific as before.

It is intertwined with clematis vine, which is not currently blooming.
